The purpose of this project was to design a comprehensive assessment system for mathematics and science standards that will: (1) focus instruction across a school and/or a district on specific areas of knowledge and skill; and (2) provide a vehicle for teachers and/or other school staff to keep track of the progress of individual students on each topic using teacher-designed formal and informal assessments.
