• This is the 5th consecutive year that Michael Holmes' students from Royal High School have had entries advance to OSPI's statewide show. Royal has now been represented at the state show for 8 of the 9 past years from 2006 through 2014, accounting for 12 entries during that time.
• Toppenish has now had art advance to the state show for 7 of the past 8 years.
• Sally Tonkin has now had photos by three of her Davis High School students advance to the state show during the past two years. Davis now has a four-year streak of student photos moving on to the OSPI show, fielding six entries to Olympia during that time.
• This is the first time in 10 years that a student from White Swan has had a piece move on to the state show.
