Unemployment Insurance Cooperative
The Unemployment Insurance Co-op operates for the districts' benefit in lieu of making monthly premium payments to the state of Washington for unemployment insurance. The member districts are assessed an annual rate based on taxable wages and unemployement history during preceding year. The Co-op manages and invests these premiums and reimburses the state of Washington for unemployment claims. Our Employers Unity representative is:
