Workers' Compensation Cooperative:
Accident Prevention Trainings & Services

How can we help your school district?

Bulletin Board Posters: We can provide required and recommended posters (state and federal)

Injury Statistical Analysis: We can conduct an injury trend analysis for the district

Safety Programs: We can review current programs, provide sample programs, advise on requirements and any changes from the state

On-Site Safety Walk-Around: We can evaluate safety issues and provide recommendations when necessary.

Telephone or Email Consultations: The Loss Control Consultant is available to answer questions related to occupational safety and accident prevention. These questions relate to a variety of topics such as safety training requirements, safety committees, first aid, safety regulation changes/updates.

Safety Committee Meetings: We can assist in establishing safety committees, make presentations to safety committees, and explain services that are provided by the Cooperative.

Ergonomic Workstation Evaluations: We can assess employees' workstations to determine effective methods for reducing strains.

Occupational Health Surveys: We can provide noise monitoring or initial indoor air quality monitoring, and arrange or coordinate the services of technical specialist depending on issues presented

Accident Investigation: We can provide onsite training and assist with accident investigations.

Transitional Job Analysis: We can assist the school district in conducting transitional job analyses for employees returning to work while recuperating from an injury. Job analyses can also be created for the initial job of injury.

Incident and Claim Accident Prevention Follow-Up: To assist districts, we review injury claims and follow up with the district to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken as necessary.
