Certification
ESD 105 receives all certificate applications for educators serving in the region and makes recommendations for certification approval to the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). All certification fees are made payable to ESD.
Certification Updates:
- Attention: Total fee amounts due with all applications will change on October 1, 2011, to include an Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction processing fee. Any application submitted (postmarked) after September 30, 2011, must include the additional fee amount of $33 dollars per certificate action. Details regarding fees are included with every application beginning September 25, 2011. This processing fee will be due at the time of application submission whether the application is submitted through a Washington State approved teacher preparation program, Educational Service District, Professional Certification Office at OSPI, or for those applications now accepted October 1, 2011, fully online through your Professional Certification EDS account at OSPI. For more information regarding this legislative change please go to the Electronic Certification (e-Cert system)
