Safe and Drug-Free Schools
fact sheet
ESD 105 Learning Support staff members ensure that all schools in the region have access to educational resources and support for tobacco prevention and intervention. We work with state, county, and community partners to reduce and eliminate tobacco use.

Every day about 45 students in Washington use tobacco for the first time. Of those students, 33 percent will be addicted before they graduate from high school. And off those addicted, 1 in 3 will eventually die from a tobacco-related illness.
