Art Show Congratulations to the eight student artists from south central Washington whose work will be displayed this spring at OSPI's statewide Superintendent's Art Show in Olympia after emerging with our Regional Awards during the 44th annual ESD 105 Regional Art Show at Yakima's Junior Achievement World!
The winning entries were among the 80 in our March 1-20 juried exhibit that were selected by Central Washington University's Art Department chairman Gregg Schlanger and Yakima Valley College's Larson Gallery director David Lynx to move on to the state show.  Regional honorees were recognized during the opening reception on March 4.  Additionally, two pieces were chosen to receive the ESD 105 Board Choice Awards (to be purchased for permanent display in the ESD 105 Conference Center) and seven of the participants received CWU scholarship awards for their entries in this year's Regional Show.

Three of the eight entries advancing to the OSPI statewide show are from Toppenish High School.  Additionally, Goldendale High School earned multiple honors, with four of its five entries being recognized with an award and/or scholarship.
