Washington's Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a comprehensive, state-funded preschool program that provides free educational services and supports to eligible children and their families. Programs include high quality preschool, family support and parent involvement, and child health coordination and nutrition. The program's goal is to help ensure all Washington children enter kindergarten ready to succeed. Respecting family beliefs, culture, language and child rearing practices is a fundamental part of ESD 105's ECEAP program.
In accordance with the Department of Early Learning ECEAP Guiding Principles, we fully believe:
    • Children benefit from comprehensive early childhood services that foster healthy development and school readiness.

    • The primary contributor to a child's development is the family.Community resources support child and family development, learning, and well-being.

    • Partnerships in local communities help families achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.
