ESD 105 hosts family resources coordinator trainings using a hybrid model that includes face-to-face small group sessions with live video-conferencing. This training provides the orientation and training for family resources coordinators (FRCs) required by the Infant Toddler Early Intervention Program. Participants will gain knowledge and understanding of the early intervention program requirements for FRCs and skills to facilitate development of an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
FRC Basic Introductory Training
- Complete Year 1 Introductory FRC modules (on-line within two months of hire)
- Complete Introduction to Data Management System module (on-line within two months of hire)
- Attendance at two of four Professional Learning Community Trainings (PLC) offered at all nine of Washington's Educational Service Districts facilitated via video-conferencing.
FRC Year Two Training
Year Two training is for people registered as an FRC who completed FRC Basic Training. This training, facilitated by Greg Abell, Sound Options Group, L.L.C., explores three essential elements of this role: Communication, Collaboration and Conflict Management.
