• Goldendale School District Superintendent Opening

    The Goldendale School District sits on a beautiful plateau just north of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and south of the pine-covered Simcoe Mountains of South-central Washington. Goldendale is the county seat of Klickitat County. The sprawling 1,200 square miles of the county contains a variety of scenery.

    The Goldendale School District educates a population of more than 900 students in three school buildings, and has a staff of 139 employees.  The high school serves grades 9-12, the middle school serves grades 5-8, and the primary school serves grades K-4.  Local Maintenance and Operations Levy funding has been part of the school district's operations for more than 30 years.  The school facilities are widely used by the community for many youth athletic activities and other events.
