Compensation Philosophy

Educational Service District 105 (ESD 105) is one of nine regional educational agencies in the state. It provides a wide array of programs, services, and support to 25 public school districts, private schools, and a tribal compact school in south-central Washington.

We lead with our mission that “ESD 105 serves and supports students, families, and communities by removing barriers and transforming lives.” Our staff is passionate about our vision that “each learner has the skills, tools, and hope that leads to lifelong success and thriving, equitable communities.” We recognize our employees’ contributions, and the pay, benefits, and retirement we offer reflect our commitment to supporting our people's financial and personal well-being.

We developed this compensation philosophy based on our policies, beliefs, and intentions. It will guide the design and administration of our compensation program.
