2025 Regional High School Art Show

ESD 105 is honored to host the Regional High School Art Exhibit, which will be held at the Yakima Valley Museum, 2105 Tieton Drive, Yakima, Washington. The Yakima Museum is open to the public from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday-Saturday. Winners of the regional awards will advance to the OSPI State Art Show.

Guidelines

Forms & Requirements

Students must be enrolled in a public high school or a Tribal Compact School in Washington. All artwork submitted to the High School Art Show MUST be completely original. If artwork is determined to be a copy, it will be disqualified from the Art Show.

Submission Requirements

All required forms and materials must be uploaded at the time of registration. A registration link will be provided. For questions, please contact Gayle Ames at gayle.ames@esd105.org.

Judging Process

Artwork is evaluated based on the following three categories, aligned with the Washington State Arts K–12 Learning Standards:

Creativity

Artwork reflects original thinking, showcasing imaginative ideas and expressive interpretations.

Composition

Artwork demonstrates a thoughtful approach to artistic questions, a clear understanding of design principles, and a unique visual statement.

Technique

Artwork displays skillful use of the medium, showing proficiency and attention to detail in achieving the intended artistic effect.
