AI Ready Skills is an artificial intelligence credential program with supporting curriculum, delivered through Minecraft Education. The program introduces students to foundational concepts in artificial intelligence providing them with crucial AI literacy skills. Funded through Washington State legislation, the program is available to schools at no cost. |
The credential program is comprised of 4 units which enable students to develop and prove their skills:
- Understanding AI
- Exploring Data and AI
- Coding and AI
- Practicing Responsible AI
Students learn in highly immersive Minecraft Education worlds and undertake formative and summative assessments to showcase their knowledge and gain certificates and digital badges!
The program is easy-to-teach and flexible in its delivery. Educators do not need to have extensive AI knowledge or Minecraft Education to use the program in their classroom. The curriculum is designed to be adaptable across multiple subject areas, including business and marketing.
Free Educator Professional Development is also available through the AI Ready Skills Certified Educator course. Completion of this course is optional but provides Educators the opportunity to gain the AI Ready Skills Certified Educator Credential.
