Instructional Improvement

Providing enhanced resources and technology, along with strong professional development to reduce the achievement gap

The Instructional Improvement Cooperative responds to needs of member districts by providing media resources, professional development, and support. The training and support offerings are held in the district, at the ESD, and/or online at no cost to member districts (unless otherwise noted). New product offerings are piloted and reviewed by member districts, then recommended to the Executive Board for purchase.

What We Believe:

  • Student learning and academic achievement are our first priorities
  • All students have the capacity to learn and be successful in school
  • Professional development and growth are on-going processes
  • Resources and technology need to be integrated into the classroom to enrich student learning
  • Best Practices used in every classroom every day result in high student achievement
  • Learning is a collaborative process
  • Teachers need to have direct access to resources, technology, and professional development
