MEP Convenings
MEP Convenings support districts throughout the year by aligning services, reviewing progress, and planning forward to improve outcomes for migratory students and families.
2025–2026 Convening Dates
Fall Convening- October 14, 2025
- Laying the Foundation: Launch services, review requirements, and align district priorities with PAC consultation.
Winter Convening- January 22, 2026
- Monitoring & Adjusting: Review mid-year progress, share district strategies, and prepare for summer services.
Spring Convening- May 5, 2026
- Evaluating & Planning Forward: Reflect on 2025–2026 outcomes, complete FSI, and plan for 2026–2027 with PAC input.
MEP AIMS
AIMS sessions serve as collaborative checkpoints in the Migrant Education Program continuous improvement cycle, connecting data, reflection, and action to strengthen coordination and impact of services for migratory students and families. These sessions support districts in using shared data and OSPI guidance to review progress, align practices, and make informed adjustments to service delivery throughout the year.
2025–2026 AIMS Dates
Fall AIMS- November 20, 2025
- Focus: Mid-cycle checkpoint to review progress and prepare for the Winter Convening.
Spring AIMS- February 23, 2025
- Focus: Review and refine service delivery and documentation practices using OSPI supplemental service definitions.
