Washington State Fellows' Network
The Washington State Fellows is a team of education leaders from Math, Science, Early Learning, and ELA who meet and collaborate through the school year.
The mission of the Washington State Fellows' Network is to develop leadership skills, increase understanding of adult learning facilitating the change process, to build content knowledge and center racial equity; improving outcomes for all students. ESD 105 Fellows will develop skills to lead professional learning at their sites to implement identified school or district literacy action plans.
Washington State Fellows use their professional learning to support their school district’s implementation of their content area Washington State Learning Standards.
To learn more, please see the OSPI Fellows Website.
OSPI will offer free clock hours to new and returning Fellows for participation in the professional learning convenings and orientation. The three-year program allows for deeper and expanded learning in the topics of leadership, content area knowledge, adult learning, change management, equity, use of data and analytics, and student growth. Prospective applicants who can commit to only one year may still apply; all applicants are encouraged to consider a multi-year commitment to gain the full benefits of the program. After completing the three-year program, Fellows may continue to develop their leadership and expertise by becoming Emeritus Fellows. Fellows who elect to become Emeritus Fellows should complete the Emeritus Fellows’ Interest Survey annually.
