Hour of Code

ESD 105 is excited to announce our Hour of Code Project for the 2022-2023 school year! Hour of Code is an international event and represents a phenomenal opportunity to expose students to the excitement, wonder, and empowerment capacity of computer science. Hour of Code within the ESD 105 region has grown from over 500 students in 2019 to over 3000 students in 2021; we look forward to positively impacting even more students this year!

This year, ESD 105 will begin celebrating Hour of Code alongside Computer Science Education Week (December 5 - 11) and continue through phased opportunities (range of dates) throughout the year. You may participate in as many phases for your event that meet your scheduling needs, and you may continue your CS related activities beyond your selected phase.

Here are the available phases/event dates; please continue reading for registration information

  • Phase 1:  December 5, 2022 - December 16, 2022

  • Phase 2:  January 16, 2023 - March 31, 2023
