• The Marvelous Machines unit guides students to think like industrial engineers as they explore a variety of simple machines people use every day.  Students will also explore the pro's and cons of assembly lines compared to making things by hand.  Students will use the engineering design process to combine simple machines to create an assembly-line subsystem.
