CPWI - Community Coalitions
The Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative (CPWI) programs are created through grants from the Washington State Healthcare Authority. The goals of the community coaltions are to use community level change to reduce underage substance use and promote wellness within the identified community. ESD 105 currently is the fiscal agent for the CPWI Coalitions in the city of Yakima and in the Highland School District, encompassing the cities of Tieton and Cowiche. ESD 105 also works to support the work of multiple community coalitions within our service region including Sunnyside, White Swan, Wapato, Wahluke, Ellensburg, and Cle Elum.
