Educator Awards
Celebrating the educators who make a difference across South Central Washington
Each year, ESD 105 partners with districts across our region to recognize and celebrate outstanding educators and school staff. We coordinate the nomination and selection process, support local submissions, and elevate regional honorees as they advance to statewide recognition
Nominations are open to everyone, peers, school and district leaders, students, families, and community members are all encouraged to recognize the exceptional educators and staff making a difference in our schools.
Recognizing Excellence Across Roles
Each year, ESD 105 selects two regional honorees
- Teacher of the Year
- Classified Employee of the Year
Regional winners advance to the statewide program led by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, representing the excellence of ESD 105 region.
These awards highlight the powerful impact educators and staff have on students, schools, and communities every day
Pathway to State & National Recognition
Regional Teacher of the Year and Regional Classified Employee of the Year honorees advance to the statewide recognition program led by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, where one individual from each category is selected to move forward to the national level.
Principal of the Year nominations are submitted to the Association of Washington School Principals for consideration in the Washington State Principal of the Year program, with finalists and winners selected by AWSP.
