The Regional School Safety Center is a state-recognized program serving more than 25 school districts and over 100 schools across Central Washington. Through strong partnerships with law enforcement, fire services, behavioral health providers, insurance agencies, emergency management, and other key stakeholders, the Center is dedicated to enhancing the safety and security of school communities.

The program focuses on organizing and training staff, developing adaptable all-hazards plans, ensuring a shared understanding of procedures, and fostering a culture of ongoing, effective practice.  When a crisis arises, you are the first responders, and our entire program is built to empower you to deal with them quickly and decisively.  Our goal is to put YOU in control of your own safety.
