The ESD 105 START (School Trauma Assessment and Response) Team offers postvention support to schools and districts who have been through a tragic event. Postvention refers to activities that help promote healing in the school.
The primary goals of postvention are to help school community members as they begin the grieving process while simultaneously responding to the crisis aspect of the tragic event.
